An innovative partnership

Initiated between artist Marc Séguin, the social economy enterprise Société de développement Angus and the real estate developer Huotco, all three partners motivated to develop art and culture in Montréal. Ateliers 3333 is the result of an innovative and invigorating idea: To transform an industrial building into a creative community with inspiring and luminous spaces offered at an affordable price.

An inclusive approach to avoid the effects of gentrification

Ateliers 3333 was developed to follow the ongoing trend in many large cities around the world where the revitalization of underdeveloped neighborhood is made through the implication of artists and creative businesses in the community. The innovative approach of Ateliers 3333 is to maintain artists in their spaces at an affordable price in the long run. The goal is to counter the negative effect of gentrification which often leads to artists being expelled from their spaces due to the rise of rent.
